Intro Pack FAQs 

The packages are designed to introduce you to training with a Sky Trainer.  As long as you haven't worked with a trainer at Sky, you're eligible. If you have trained with at Sky, you'll need to purchase regular priced training. 

Because these packages are designed to introduce you to training, we only allow you to make one purchase.  It is up to you, however, if you would like to purchase a package of 5 sessions or 10 sessions.  

There are two easy ways to find the trainer that is right for you:

  1. The best option is to let us help you.  Stop by the Member Service Desk, see a Concierge, or contact us directly and we'll be happy to help you make a connection that works for you.
  2. If you'd like to find one yourself, you can visit our Trainer page and use the filters to find the perfect fit. You can filter Trainers by their Sky location, gender, availability, session options, or specialty certifications. 

Your trainer will happily walk you through your plan and it will be personalized for you and your goals.  The sessions in our Intro Packs are typically 60 minutes long unless you and your trainer modify the length of time.  Once you complete your Intro Pack sessions, Sky has a wide variety of options such as 30 min. sessions or group training.

One of the perks of working with a Sky trainer is your schedule is a top priority.  We have trainers that work early mornings, weekdays, evenings, and weekends in order to be there for you.  During your first session, you and your trainer will schedule the remainder of your package so that it works for both of you.

If you purchase them at Sky, you've already scheduled your initial session.  You can expect a phone call from your trainer to talk about what to wear, where to meet, and other topics to help you get the most out of your first meeting.  You'll also receive the contact information of your trainer in case you have any questions.

We understand that life can be hectic sometimes.  If you need to reschedule your appointment, just let your trainer know.  As long as you give 24 hour notice, you will not lose the session.

The more information that Sky trainers have, the better your results will be.  Make sure you let us know...:

  • What are your goals?
  • What does success in 90 days look like?
  • Any medical issues or dietary restrictions that might affect your exercises.
  • What exercises or fitness modalities have you done in your past that you enjoyed and what did you not?
  • What personal limitations (schedule, work, family, etc) might you have?

Another question we like to ask all of our training clients is, "What is your "Super Why?"  We want to know what was the final push you needed to get started?  We're here for you and we want to make sure we do everything we can do to help.

Once you've completed your Intro Pack Sessions, you can discuss with your trainer what your next steps should be.  You are not required to buy any, but if you would like to continue you can take advantage of any of Sky's training options.  Again, we're here for your success.

If you have a friend or family member that you would like to have join you for a session, let your trainer know.  If your friend or family member would like to purchase an Intro Pack for themselves, all sessions can be scheduled together.  

We offer all of our Sky members a set of complimentary Connect sessions.  if you have never scheduled a Connect appointment, you can do so with your trainer to see if it's a good fit.  Sky is also committed to making sure you have an exceptional experience, so let us know if you don't "click" with your trainer and we'll find a better option for you.
